The EU AI Act classifies AI systems into 4 risk categories, and each one has its own deadline. Article 50 transparency applies from August 2, 2026. Standalone high-risk follows on December 2, 2027. Find out which category your system is in, and which date is actually yours.

How this works
This risk assessment tells you which EU AI Act category your system falls into. You answer seven questions about what the AI does, who it affects and how much autonomy it has. You get back a classification, prohibited, high, limited or minimal risk, the obligations that come with it, and the deadline that is actually yours. It is for teams shipping AI in the EU, and it needs no signup to start.
